Malware not being detected/removed

Hello,

 

I have foolishly managed to infect my MacBook Pro (Mojave 10.14.5) with some sort of malware - I think via a 'flash update' link.

Safari is redirecting searches to Bing, trovi.com or (something like) go.next-search.net. I've tried all the steps in the pinned malware removal post. I can't see any extensions, or anything under preferences. But still it persists.

Malwarebytes scan isn't picking up anything.

All suggestions gratefully received.

They will probably ask you to submit data which should not be posted publicly due to privacy concerns.
