Changing from Windows 7 to Windows 10

Recommended Posts

Hi  :welcome:

Yes, Malwarebytes version 3.7.1  can run on Windows 10 or Windows 7.

Changing the Windows version on your machine can impact the tracking of the Premium license.

Before you do the Windows Upgrade, you want to Deactivate the license on your PC first.   Then do the Windows Upgrade.

Then when all done, Re-activate the Premium license on the Malwarebytes program.

To deactivate on your machine ( locally):

Start Malwarebytes.   Click Settings.  Click "Account Details" tab.

Then click on "Deactivate license" button.

Then close the program.

.
