Ability to set custom Endpoint name

Is there the ability to set a custom endpoint name? In some cases (on our systems at least), the endpoint name does not reflect the computer asset and we would like to modify it.

On our monitoring system, we are able to do this and it adds an asterisk (*) at the end of the endpoint name to show that it is a custom name.

Currently there is no ability to set custom names for an endpoint.  I will put in a feature request on your behalf to bring more attention to this requested feature.

I know of no ETA for this feature at this time, however I did make sure it was submitted to the Product team to include in their backlog so hopefully it will be added soon assuming there is room for this feature in the next release (it depends on priorities and other features and fixes in relation to the timeline for Malwarebytes' upcoming releases of course).
