Unlink registered license code on another computer that is not accessed

Recommended Posts

When I try to register my license key again (on my newly formatted device) it is not possible for me, since it shows me to be linked to another device (I have tried it both in the program and in my user account).
So, my question is, how could I unlink and re-link it?

NOTE: I bought the license on an unofficial page apparently.

Sorry to say, but you have bought an key that is used already by someone else. Only G2A can help you and ask a refund.

Normal price for one year is us 39.99, so you have bought a fake and used key.

@Pawblosky

Sad to see & sad to have to say.  G2A is not affiliated with Malwarebytes.  They are a scammer.

Not exactly, since I was able to activate it before I formatted my computer. In other words, I have my license used in another version that I do not have Windows installed

Well I can not ask for a refund (it's been too long). Could not you try to see where the key is activated at least?

Sorry you've been scammed but I would have thought the price of 2.42€ would have raised some questions about it perhaps being genuine? Even if the key was successfully used to install the software, it was merely a clone of a genuine key and so Malwarebytes won't recognise it as legitimate.
