Hi,

I have just tried re activating my Malwarebytes lifetime license but with no luck.
A day or so ago I had to re install Windows 10 as I was unable to access Windows due to an error in the Windows registry. I was also then unable to de activate my lifetime license from this old Windows 10 installation as I was unable to access my old Windows. So when I tried to re activate my license in the new Malwarebytes installation, it states that "the usage level has exceeded the maximum installations allowed". It then had an option to 'Deactivate other devices', but when I clicked this, it went straight to the malwarebytes account website, where I made an account and again attempted to re activate the license key, but with the same problem now re occurring...?

All I ask is if you could please add my license key to my account so that I can indeed register it via the My Account page, and also if you could "Deactivate my other devices" for me to continue to use my same lifetime license on my new Windows installation.

And I can provide my license key and email address for account purposes at any time via a private message if need be.

Many thanks and I will await your reply.

You should create a new helpdesk ticket and they will assist you.  If you haven't already, I'd also recommend signing up for an account at My.Malwarebytes.com using the email address you used when you purchased your license if possible, or if not, let Support know and they should be able to add your license key to your account there so that you can sign into My.Malwarebytes.com to manage your license, that way you can deactivate it to free it up for use on your current device/installation of Windows.

Hi to Maurice Naggar and exile360,

Yes Maurice, I have created a Ticket via Malwarebytes Support already - and with no response, that is why I am now posting my license activation problem via this forum - as no one has gotten back to me..?

And yes exile360, I have also already made an account via the Malwarebytes Account page, and yes using the same email address, but as stated I am Still waiting for some sort of resolution and response to my license activation problem so that my computer can be protected, as I have indeed purchased this license?

Any help would be much appreciated, thank you

Please be patient, you always get answer back! But they have lots of work to do, don't think they are waiting for you.

It can take 3-4 days or sooner before they get back to you. You surely will get an answer, at Malwarebytes they work at the First IN, First Out principle. At the forum no one can help you with this problem. Only someone from Malwarebytes Staff can help you now, so please wait a little more.

To Gt-truth, be sure you have a open Support help ticket.

To both GT-truth & tiger2000, continue to have patience.   Just as SPDIF has mentioned, support follows the FIFO principle.  Also be aware that there is reduced staffing on weekends.

Also know that complicated cases can only be sorted out by Support.

It seems you are both mentioning lifetime licenses.  Those were always one license for one Windows computer.

Assuming you bought those directly from Malwarebytes, you would have supplied a Email at the original purchase.

That same email is what you should use to login to Malwarebytes MyAccount.

https://my.malwarebytes.com/en/login

If you have misplaced or do not have the password for that login, use the blue "Forgot password" link.

Keep in mind that the Email has to be valid and active.

.

That being able to do that login and then to see what it shows there for Licenses is an important factor.

If you do not see your license listed there, you can not make headway on your own.  Thus have to have patience about your ticket.

There are several help articles on the Support portal about the topic of licenses, de-activation, re-activation.

Start with Manage subscriptions in My Account  https://support.malwarebytes.com/docs/DOC-1032

Patience is the watchword.
