downloaded malwarebytes antirootkit to my computer. I have a malewarebytes folder that was created on my desktop. If I double click the mbar icon to run it I never get a gui that open to allow me to scan. It says I already have malewarebytes antirootkit running on my computer but it doesn't show up in programs or task manager. I downloaded the trouble shooting tool. If I click on the clean tab to clean any malwarebytes files from my computer it says none are found. I have attached the files from the trouble shooting tool. I would like to be able to get this to work properly or be able to completely uninstall. Thanks for any help.

Greetings,

Please go to your desktop and open the mbar folder found there and locate the file named mbar.exe (it will be a small blue icon that looks the same as the icon for the Malwarebytes Anti-Rootkit installer you downloaded) and double-click on it to run it.  If it opens, click Next and in the update window click Update and allow it to update its databases and once it completes click Next and then click on the Scan button.  Allow it to scan your system and once it completes, have it remove any threats that it has detected and restart your system if it prompts you to do so in order to complete the threat removal process.

Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks
