 Issue: removing searchencrypt, malware.

I have been using malwarebytes many years so did a heuristic scan and report removed lots of stuff. But searchencrypt immediately reappeared and took over all google searches. I am new to forum. It is late and I have this problem (later I will read and learn how to use for optimal response and as to not bother others). I have to sleep and don't know what harm can come to my desktop....anyone? Would greatly appreciate any advice and also what am I doing wrong -- how to keep desktop safer? Thanks, Barbara (Eluard)
