Hi,

I have been unable to install Malwarebytes for quite some time now due to the error shown in the picture, I have used the support tool, FRST and MB-clean, I have also tried to install it via safe mode with networking and without but I receive the exact same error. Any solution to this problem would be greatly appreciated and I thank you for your time.

Hello @PercivalShift:

Understood.

A request has been made for a Malwarebytes staff member (@AdvancedSetup) to further assist.  Till he weighs in, please run the following using your Windows 10 Pro install:

From an Elevated Command Prompt please copy/paste the following Deployment Imaging and Servicing Management (Dism) tool command followed by a return:

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

The process will take many minutes to complete.  Please be patient and copy/paste the result into your next reply to this topic.

Thank you.

Hello @PercivalShift

Let me have you run the following, please.

Please download the latest version of our Support Tool

https://support.malwarebytes.com/docs/DOC-2395

Do not run the Repair in this case. Instead, please click on the Advanced menu and run the Clean process.

mbst_clean.jpg

After the Clean Removal and reboot, it should offer to reinstall.

Let me know how that goes

Thanks

Ron
