MarkUKNZ123 Posted May 9, 2019 ID:1311995 Share Posted May 9, 2019 Hi, Sorry am a total novice. I have the latest Malware bytes and it regularly states that i have a Adaware Secure Search threat. Malware bytes goes ahead and removes it and then after the restart, when i open Chrome, Adaware Secure Search is back there. I delete the extension, and then run the scan again but still it comes up as a threat. Have no idea how to fully remove it! This is what the log file says: ***** [ Chromium (and derivatives) ] ***** PUP.Optional.DefaultSearch.ShrtCln Adaware Secure Search Any help would be greatly appreciated.
