After a Windows 10 update to version 1809, outlook would crash upon opening.  It turns out the only way to get it all working is to turn off Malwarebytes.  Current Malwarebytes version is 3.7.1.2839, Component package version:  1.0.586, Update package version: 1.0.10508.

Any other issues with this?

Hello @Beegz and :welcome:

Perchance, did the Microsoft Outlook 2016 crash occur before KB4464540 was released and applied today?  Has the system in question been updated today with that update and it's now crashing?

This may not have been reported before and if it was reported, it's seems quite rare.  Please run the Malwarebytes Support Tool (only in gather mode) and then attach the logs in your next reply to this topic:

Hi @Beegz,

Thanks for the file. It looks like Windows is crashing.

This issue has been seen before with a McAfee product installed. In those cases, the crash was caused by a McAfee driver attempting to access an invalid memory location (in the presence of the Malwarebytes Web Protection) when an email client was opened (such as Outlook).

The solution is to uninstall the McAfee product, restart the computer and reinstall the program afterwards. You should find the crashes/blue screens stop.
