I have Malwarebytes Premium for Mac and am receiving a quarantine notice daily:  the quarantined threat is :lgfehfbnofiffladdncogfobimealokp     I think this might be related to google chrome which I use frequently.  I do delete this threat daily .  Please advise what I should do to eliminate this continuing situation.  thank you

Yes, that is the Google Extension "Search Extension by Ask."

First, turn off the sync feature on chrome

Then delete the extension manually

• open chrome 
• click on setting / three dots > more tools > extensions OR type chrome://extensions/ in address bar
• delete the extension

After that run a scan, click on the Quarantine tab and "Clear Quarantine" button.

The extension gets back due to the sync feature of Chrome.
