AndyMacpherson Posted May 1, 2019 ID:1310674 Share Posted May 1, 2019 Hello, A charity website I support is being raised as a 'trojan' risk by malwarebytes. The site address is: colnbrookbaptistchapel.co.uk I can confirm there was a malware attack on the site a few weeks ago resulting in the ISP (JustHost) suspending the site. The site was restored and cleaned up according to direction by the ISP and re-scanned as clean before being re-activated. Today a regular user of the site reported Malwarebytes was raising an exception when loading the site URL in his browser. Noone else was getting this exception from a number of devices, but on installing malwarebytes myself, I was also able to reproduce the exception. This evening (1-MAY-2019 @9.30pm UK time) I again had the host re-scan the site and they once again confirmed it is clean. Accordingly we believe the malwarebytes exception is now a false-positive. Please can you assist us in having this issue resolved? Many Thanks, Andy
Staff Solution Zynthesist Posted May 2, 2019 Staff Solution ID:1310697 Share Posted May 2, 2019 Hello, I have re-checked this block and it is a valid detection. Does not appear that the site has been cleaned up.
