How can my own phone be calling the same phone.?? obviously this isnt happening, but some type of spoofing. Im just curious if there is malware on my phone that does this, or somehow a caller can make my phone show my own caller ID. So friggin odd. Also how do you make it stop.??? treed Posted April 25, 2019 ID:1309627 Share Posted April 25, 2019 Scam callers are able to spoof calls from any number they want to. It's pretty trivial to do. For some reason, a scammer has decided to spoof the call from your number... either that, or screwed up the spoofing so it's using the same number for both the call and the spoofed caller ID! Unfortunately, there's not anything that can be done about this currently. We can't tell if a call is spoofed or not. There may be something that could be done in a future update, though, since it really doesn't make any sense for you to call yourself. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
