Malwarebytes constantly downloading update

I have Malwarebytes Premium 3.7.1 and it has been endlessly downloading  updates for several hours and causing my Pc running Windows 10 to slow to a crawl.

Due to this I have uninstalled  via Windows control panel. I have had a lifetime licence and would ask whether it is possible to download a new version without losing my lifetime licence.

Yes, lifetime licenses are good for all versions of Malwarebytes so you should be able to download the latest version from here and install it and hopefully that will eliminate the issue you were experiencing with updates.

If that does not correct the problem then please try the following to see if it fixes it:

1. Download and run the Malwarebytes Support Tool
2. Accept the EULA and click Advanced tab on the left (not Start Repair)
3. Click the Clean button, and allow it to restart your system and then reinstall Malwarebytes, either by allowing the tool to do so when it offers to on restart, or by downloading and installing the latest version from here
