extension breaks msn.com/money

The extension is preventing all images from showing on msn.com/money.  If I disable ads/clickbait protection, then the images display.  This is what it looks like with ads/clickbait enabled.

Don't know if this will help with debugging or not, but the msn.com/money page load just fine and shows all the images in the new Chromium version of Edge with the Malwarebytes extension installed and the ads/clickbait option enabled in settings.

Why this would work in Edge but not in Google Chrome seems a bit odd since they are both based on Chromium.

Do you have the Malwarebytes extension installed in Edge?

I downloaded the Dev version of the new Chromium based Edge browser and installed the Malware Extension for Chrome in that. 

msn.com/money worked fine in Edge while it doesn't work in Chrome using the same settings in the extension.

It has been 3 months since this issue was originally reported.  It is still a problem.  Has any progress been made towards a resolution?  Why does the extension break the web site in Chrome but not in the Edge Chromium beta?

I know you are looking into it, but it seems like 3 months is a long time to not find a solution.  I must say this doesn't give me a lot of confidence in the extension and it's support.  I love Malwarebytes, but this extension has been in beta a long time.

Issues like yours is why it is still BETA. Needs to be 100% before it goes out of BETA.

Agreed.  I guess I'm just saying it has been in beta for a year and a half.  When is it ever going to be 100%??  I worked in IT for over 30 years and if we had something in beta for that long we would have been laughed out of the building.  Maybe it is time to drop some of the code that is failing and put out something that works.

They also need to keep with Chrome and Firefox's ever-changing add on rules as well

This is still broken in Malwarebytes Browser Guard 2.0.  Enabling the protection for Ads causes all images on the page to be greyed out rather than displaying them as indicated in my original post in this thread.

As with the earlier beta versions, it works fine in the Edge Chromium browser.  Images are displayed even with the Ads protection enabled.

v2.0.1 was pushed to the chrome store.  Due to this change you will see:

Once you accept this permission the issue with msn.com/money should be resolved.

There is a different issue on the site now.  Most ads are getting blocked, but one is getting through.

That's an AdChoice ad which you can control yourself, so perhaps Malwarebytes allows them?

I don't know.  I've had very poor results with controlling AdChoice ads so I hope MB will block them.  It seems like I try to block one and I just get a different one.
