TheBrightTag Keeps Returning

AdwCleaner is finding and, presumably, cleaning TheBrightTag from my computer. However, after 1-7 days of usage, I find that my computer is again reinfected. I can usually tell because the system slows noticeably.

My Win10 PC is fully up-to-date and I generally think of myself as a fairly safe user (I use VPN on public sites and am careful about phishing and similar attacks). Nevertheless, I cannot figure out how to completely eradicate this thing.

Please read and follow the instructions in this topic and then create a new topic in the malware removal area including the requested logs and information by clicking here and one of our malware removal specialists will assist you as soon as one is available with checking and cleaning your system of any threats.  It is likely that something on the system that isn't getting caught is bringing these other threats/PUPs back onto the system.  They will be able to help you to resolve this issue.

Thanks much for the detailed response. I have the log files prepared but it is not clear to me what you mean by the "malware removal area." I do not see a forum with that name listed here.
