How to remove Trojan,BlockAV from my computer after Malwarebyte Quantines

Recommended Posts

Hello, I am new to your forum and the reason that I am here is I need your help to remove a threat form my computer, that is reported by Malwarebytes' system scan.  I ran the system scan earlier and Malwarebytes detected 4 Trojan,BlockAV threats but I could not remove them I could only quarantine them, and restarted my system as requested.  I ran the Malwarebytes scan later and they were back, so I set Malwarebytes scan scheduler to scan on reboot, and every 2 hour and it detected the same threats on a on going bases.  Can you help me resolve this issue?  I have attached a copy of my scan report.

Runningbear lost in the woods, but as I tell my wife I am never lost I just don't know where I am.

Hello and welcome.  Please follow these guidelines while we work on your PC:

  • Malware removal is a sometimes lengthy and tedious process. Please stick with the thread until I have given you the ìAll clear.î  Absence of symptoms does not mean your machine is clean!
  • Please do not run any scans or install/uninstall any applications without being directed to do so.
  • Please note that the forum is very busy and if I don't hear from you within five days this thread will be closed.

icon11.gif   Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your desktop.

Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. If you are not sure which version applies to your system download both of them and try to run them. Only one of them will run on your system, that will be the right version.

  • Double-click to run it. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
  • Press Scan button.
  • It will make a log (FRST.txt) in the same directory the tool is run. Please copy and paste it to your reply.
  • The first time the tool is run, it makes also another log (Addition.txt). Please attach it to your reply.

I have two questions for you while I look those logs over:

What issues, if any, are you still having with the computer?

You have hundreds of firewall rules - the most I've ever seen in a log.  Many of them are blocking legitimate programs.  Did you configure these intentionally?

This all started with a virus that disabled my my KeyScrambler, my USB ports, and DVD drive, when I attempted to get into my system BIOs  i was unable to.  I noticed also that there were a

lot of firewall rules were being disabled.  I ended up resetting the BIOs on my motherboard and reconfiguring them, and then I able to get to my USB ports and DVD to reinstall Windows 10, I

didn't do a clean reinstall because I trying not reloaded and configure everything.  I used Malwarebytes and Hitman Pro to clean some of the virus. When I ran Malwarebytes the four registry

issued continued to be reported so purchased Malwarebytes Premium believing I would be able to remove them.  I then joined the forum looking for help.
