Unable to stop malwarebytes service

Hello guys, recently i had to reinstall the OS in my computer and today i'm installing malwarebytes, but i don't want the premium version for now,  i want the free version, i turned off the premium trial but when i wanted to stop the process from the task manager, i wouldn't be able to stop the process, i had the next warning: this process cannot be stopped, access denegated. I had to uninstall malwarebytes but that's not the idea, but i don't want high memory usage :(

Can you help me guys?

1. Download Malwarebytes Support Tool
2. Once the file is downloaded, open your Downloads folder/location of the downloaded file

4. Place a checkmark next to Accept License Agreement and click Next
5. You will be presented with a page stating, "Get Started!"

8. A progress bar will appear and the program will proceed with getting logs from your computer
   
    
9. Upon completion, click a file named mbst-grab-results.zip will be saved to your Desktop. Click OK

Malwarebytes shouldn't be terminated via Task Manager as it could render the system unstable since it has drivers loaded into memory along with the service.  Instead, the best method is to right-click on the Malwarebytes tray icon and choose Quit Malwarebytes and select Yes if prompted by User Account Control.  That should remove all processes, services and drivers belonging to Malwarebytes from memory.

Yes, I'm glad that Malwarebytes (unlike some other security applications) is really easy to exit completely without leaving anything behind in memory.  It makes for a very gamer-friendly/power user-friendly security product.

This makes me wonder if the rest of the applications (games, emulators, adobe software) would do the same thing, because most of them leave traces and secondary process opened in memory and i must close them from the task manager

Yes, unfortunately many programs like to keep their background processes/components in memory, often running at system startup even though they aren't really needed.  This is a pet peeve of mine and so I use MS Sysinternals Autoruns to monitor and control my startups on my system.
