Malwarebytes software unresponsive

Hi 

Could someone please help me? I downloaded Malwarebytes on my HP windows 10 laptop and paid for the subscription. A couple of weeks back there was an update and since then Malwarebytes won't open. I uninstalled it and re-installed it with a message box opening really quickly and then closing. It still won't open. I tried running it as an administrator. I also have Kaspersky on the laptop and after doing a deep scan (thinking there might be some spyware on the laptop) nothing was detected. 

I've currently deleted/uninstalled Mlawarebytes but since I've paid the subscription I want to use it.
