Failed Scanning on MAC devices

Hello EthicalPrivate,

While there is not an uninstall utility at this time, there are a few options for uninstalling from an endpoint.  The simplest option being to uninstall via the cloud console

"Navigate to-> Endpoints-> Manage Endpoints-> Tick the box in front of the online Endpoint-> Upper right corner -> Delete"

If that method fails as the endpoint is no longer communicating with the cloud console, you may uninstall it with the following instructions.  These instructions come from the following link.  Manual Uninstall of MBEP for Mac: https://support.malwarebytes.com/docs/DOC-2431

Usage: This process is to manually uninstall the Mac EP product when the Mac is not syncing with the cloud, causing the normal uninstall process of deleting a Mac endpoint from the cloud Endpoint View ineffective.

Process:

open terminal, then copy and paste in each one of these commands. Once all four have been entered, restart the Mac.

sudo rm -r /library/launchdaemons/com.malwarebytes.endpointagent.plist
sudo rm -r /library/launchdaemons/com.malwarebytes.ncep.rtprotection.daemon.plist
sudo rm -r /library/launchdaemons/com.malwarebytes.ncep.settings.daemon.plist
sudo rm -r "/library/application support/malwarebytes/"

Warm Regards,
