I've been using Norton Anti-Virus for years alongside Malwarebytes to get the best protection from both worlds but I'm wondering if Malwarebytes 3 is enough.

Lately, NAV has been more aggressive with their product ads & also causing crashes with MS Outlook & Windows 10.

Malwarebytes together with Windows defender is doing a pretty good job!

You do not need anything more then this! Besides that, it was for years long already never an good idea to use more then one antiviral product on your computer!!

People still trying to do this and then face all kinds of problems on their system. Not to mention the big slowdown and memory using, lag in windows and programs.

Errors and faults. Do yourself a favor and use MWB together with Windows defender, no problems never and pretty good protection for sure! Windows boots up fast and computer a pleasure to work with.

If you are using Windows 10 then Windows Security together with MWB are making a perfect team! You don't have to think about it while they work for you in the background. No hassle, no nothing! What would you want more? The virus or malware that infest my pc has still to come for many many years already.

Will keep monitoring.

Like SPDIF, I advocate and use the same combination. I also believe in keeping Windows 10 fully up to date with each feature upgrade. Defender seems to improve with each build of Windows 10. I also ask my clients to use Firefox or Chrome with the Ublock origin extension and recently I am also using a recommending the Malwarebytes browser extension as well.

Above all, I also HIGHLY recommend/push creating monthly IMAGE backups with Macrium Reflect to an Isolated(not connected) external drive only plugged in during the backup process.

I use the Windows 10 backup. Why do you prefer Macrium?

Even MS is recommending using 3rd party imaging software.  Macrium has never failed me or my clients.

Microsoft recently made it known that built-in backup solutions in Windows 10 will be removed in an unknown future revision of Windows 10. That means users need to start considering alternative options for their backup needs from now on. For years, we here at groovyPost have recommended CrashPlan as a backup solution, but it appears that CrashPlan for Home Users is also shutting down. Luckily, there are a lot of choices both free and paid on the market.

Veeam's free windows agent is a solid backup solution too.

I used to use Macrium, but now use Veeam.
