From the tech support they told me to address the exploit engineers here on the forum about the changes I made to the exploit protection settings.
Therefore I attach a screen of the changes made:

1255987250_modificheExploit.JPG.8eb766af895fe71f3dad106f5dda7a30.JPG

all custom entries have been set as OTHER, except TextMaker and PlanMaker (which correspond to Word and Excel respectively) Softmaker Office products that have been set as MSOFFICE.

As for the advanced exploit settings I checked that there were no changes by clicking on the RESTORE DEFAULT button.

Please let me know if the settings are correct or require changes.

Greetings,

I'll ping the Product Manager for the Anti-Exploit product as he'll likely either have the answers, or will be able to retrieve them straight from the Developers quickly.

@Arthi could you assist here please?  This customer wants to know whether or not these custom shields are configured properly for these specific applications.

Thanks

Hi @MAXBAR1,

The custom shields you've added along with the program types selected are fine. Selecting 'MS Office' for the two programs you've mentioned shouldn't cause any issues, but does slightly alter what actions Exploit Protection will allow and not allow the processes to perform. For example, if either program has scripting functionality built-in (leveraging something like Microsoft CScript), you will find this is blocked by Exploit Protection.

If you encounter any issues, just let us know.
