I am infected please help me. Badly needed your help

Recommended Posts

I installed the kmspico and it contains some virus and made all my files encrypted. See attached file below, i cant use them.

The .txt files are came from nowhere. And all my .docs files added a new file extension see the one i clicked.

I run FRST.exe and i added the results. I cant run malwarebytes due to infections. Every time i click its telling me "Windows cannot access the specified device or path or file."  even though i already have access and permission.

Can i retrieve decrypted files and get rid of the malware infected me? Please help.

Hello, Welcome to Malwarebytes.
I'm nasdaq and will be helping you.

If you can please print this topic it will make it easier for you to follow the instructions and complete all of the necessary steps in the order listed.
===

I believe that you got  hit by GandCrab ransomware infection.

Navigate to this page and find out which version you got.
https://id-ransomware.malwarehunterteam.com/

If your version is versions 4 through 5.1 you may be lucky.
https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/gandcrab-ransomware-affiliates-continue-to-push-decryptable-versions/
BitDefender made a GandCrab decrypter available for versions 4 through 5.1.

Let me know if you were able to decrypt your files.

Post Run the Farbar program and post fresh FRST and Addition.txt logs for my review.

All my files are now decrypted. I found the solution two days ago. Thank you so much, but i assume that the malware is still inside my computer. How can i remove it? Or the bitdefender will remove it at the same time while decrypting?

Hi,

Run the Farbar program and post fresh FRST.TXT and Addition.txt logs.

Make sure the box to create the Addition.txt log is checked.
