Adding Devices

Recommended Posts

If I purchase a Malwarebytes Premium For Home license (ie. 3-devices for $59.99/year), can I later add an additional license (within in the one-year period)  at the multi-device rate or would I need to pay the one-device price of $39.99/yr for the addition?

...thanks in advance.

Greetings,

By default you'd have to pay the full price, however I do believe you should be able to contact Malwarebytes Support to work something out to get better pricing though I don't know the full extent of what they can and cannot do in the current system.  To contact them, please refer to the form found on this page.

If there's anything else we might assist you with please don't hesitate to let us know.

Thanks

exile360: Thank you for your insight.

I suppose it's nice that they might be able to work something out but that's too fuzzy for me.  The thought of calling them and pleading my case in hopes of being awarded a multi-device rate just seems... subservient.

Instead, I'll just procrastinate and subscribe later, when I have identified my actual device count.  Thanks again.  :)

Sure, no problem.  I'd be more specific and certain if I could, but as I said, since the current system has these limitations where it requires them to be purchased in the same transaction, they would have to intervene manually to provide the multi-license pricing if one or more of the licenses is purchased/added on later.  Perhaps they'll augment the license management system to allow this sort of thing automatically eventually, but for now unfortunately it's not possible with the current system.
