Hi there,

I've installed Malwarebytes and AdwCleaner to remove a PUP.Optional.Mail.Ru virus that keeps coming back after trying every other option seen available. Have tried resetting chrome, removing extensions, turning off sync, etc. and it still comes back after removing.

I've referenced this thread as a guide for the attachments needed to move forward with fixing this: https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/237686-puplegacy-keeps-coming-back/

Please let me know if anything else is needed in order to fix this, thanks.

Hi,

Please download the attached Fixlist.txt file to  the same folder where the Farbar tool is running from.
The location is listed in the 3rd line of the FRST.txt log you have submitted.

Run FRST and click Fix only once and wait.

The tool will create a log (Fixlog.txt) please post it to your reply.
