Thank you for reporting this.

For anyone experiencing this issue, please do the following so that we may gather a bit of info about your installation and environment so that the team may investigate and attempt to replicate this issue in order to hopefully get it corrected more quickly:

  1. Download and run the Malwarebytes Support Tool
  2. Accept the EULA and click Advanced tab on the left (not Start Repair)
  3. Click the Gather Logs button, and once it completes, attach the zip file it creates on your desktop to your next reply

Thanks

Just a quick update.  From checking the logs from the two affected users' systems provided so far, it appears that the hypothesis that this is being caused by custom display scaling and/or DPI settings may be accurate:

Microsoft Windows Information
==================================
Product Name:  Windows 10 Home
Architecture:  x64
Current Build:  17134
Release ID:  1803
	Display Settings
==================================
Screen Resolution: 1920 X 1080
Screen Orientation: landscape
DPI:   120 X 120
Custom Scaling:  125 X 125

Microsoft Windows Information
==================================
Product Name:  Windows 10 Pro
Architecture:  x64
Current Build:  17763
Release ID:  1809
	Display Settings
==================================
Screen Resolution: 1366 X 0768
Screen Orientation: landscape
DPI:   107 X 107
Custom Scaling:  111 X 111

While not identical to one another, they are not set to 100% so it could simply be that this bug was introduced in the latest release which causes it to crash when the display settings are configured to anything above 100% for one or both values.  Both systems are also running Windows 10, though different versions and builds.  That's all I've got so far, but hopefully that will be sufficient for the Support and QA teams to replicate it.  If not, then the additional data I requested should help.  I don't have Windows 10 myself so I can't validate it myself at the moment.

Sure, that's understandable.  Items can be very difficult to read at higher resolutions and with some monitors due to varying black/brightness levels/pixel clarity etc. and even refresh rate can affect it.  In fact, Windows by default will configure a higher than 100% DPI setting for certain resolutions including 1080p and higher.  Hopefully they'll be able to resolve this issue quickly if we're correct about this being the cause.
