e-mail - Click me link

Hi I'm new here I might be in the wrong place, but here goes:

I have recently received an e-mail from a friend with a click here button which he tells me loads a 'please enter password' box

He popped in his e-mail password and then nothing happened - so he thought. Some 4 hours later his e-mail started sending out 1000s of mails with the same massage that he received.

Reset of his e-mail password has helped stopped the mails being sent but don't know if anything else is lurking in the background on his machine.

He's taken it off the internet and run full scans with both Malwarebytes and Sophos but found nothing on his machine?

Please find attached a text file which is the body of the e-mail containing the link that he clicked.

Any help greatly appreciated as this is spreading fast.

Thanks

David

What you describe sounds like a Phishing URL.

The TXT files contains HTML.  When rendered it looks like the following.  The URL is noted below and no longer resolves to an IP and thus is now a dead link.
