Random CPU Spikes

Recommended Posts

Whenever I have minimal applications running, my CPU usage is ridiculously high with 8 gigs of DDR4 ram! It varies so much to where I worry I have possible malware on my computer, but Malwarebytes alerts to nothing. Its been this way for a couple months and I have scoured the internet for much of that time to no avail. I have the latest version of Malwarebytes but it's not hitting on anything. I really don't want wipe my drive, but I think thats gonna have to be the case. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Hi,

Please run the Farbar program in an Administrator account.

Post fresh logs for my review.

To create a new Addition.txt make sure that the box to create it is checked before scanning the computer.

p.s. these are the Admin accounts.

Hi,

Please download the attached Fixlist.txt file to  the same folder where the Farbar tool is running from.
The location is listed in the 3rd line of the FRST.txt log you have submitted.

Run FRST and click Fix only once and wait.

The tool will create a log (Fixlog.txt) please post it to your reply.

Let me know if the problem persists.
