Hello there Malwarebytes community!

We’ve started rolling out a 3.7 Beta (build 2831)

As always, if you are signed into the Beta setting and don't want to wait to be notified by the program that your upgrade is available you can always grab the upgrade manually by clicking Install Application Updates in Settings > Application. 

What is new in this version:

Usability
•   Added new Play Mode feature for paid users to allow uninterrupted gaming or streaming experience
•   Improved compatibility between the Web Protection module and other third-party software

Performance/protective capability

•   Compliance with Microsoft’s Early Launch Anti-Malware requirements for W10
•   Improved detection and remediation techniques 

Stability/issues fixed
•   Fixed On Reboot scheduled scans not honoring scan settings and showing incorrect Next Scan date
•   Fixed a mismatch between Malwarebytes and Windows Action Center regarding Update status 
•   Fixed problem where certain settings were not accurately retained on upgrade
•   Addressed numerous other miscellaneous defects

Hello again Malwarebytes community,

We’ve started moments ago rolling out now a 3.7.1 Beta (build 2839)

It is worth mentioning, with our Betas it is best to sign into the program: Settings > Application> Beta Application Updates

At that point, if you don't want to wait to be notified automatically that your upgrade is available, you can grab the upgrade manually by clicking the Install Application Updates Button in Settings > Application. 

What is new in this version:

Usability

•   Compliance with Microsoft’s Early Launch Anti-Malware requirements for W10

•   Fixed a BSOD related to netio.sys
•   Fixed On Reboot scheduled scans not honoring scan settings and showing incorrect Next Scan date
•   Fixed a mismatch between Malwarebytes and Windows Action Center regarding Update status 
•   Fixed problem where certain settings were not accurately retained on upgrade

•   Improved performance in Safe Mode so only essential functionality runs 
•   Addressed numerous other miscellaneous defects

We have as of recently started rolling out a new Beta update for 3.7.1, Component update 1.0.562.

As always appropriate, if you are signed into the Beta setting but don't want to wait for the corresponding notification, please go ahead and launch the update manually by clicking Install Application Updates in Settings > Application. 

What is new in this version:

Performance/protective capability

  •  More robust protection startup retry and recovery functionality
  •  Enhanced FP prevention logic

Stability/issues fixed

  • Fixed Under certain conditions, applications added while in Play Mode are not recognized until service restart
  • Fixed: Repeating detection during PlayMode: Tray Icon disappear when user closes UI
  • Fixed: Repeating detection during PlayMode: User gets empty notification when switching PlayMode OFF
  • Fixed: Expired License to Trial Reset Shows License Info During Trial
  • Fixed problem where certain settings were not accurately retained on upgrade
  • Fixed: Trial expired tray notification upon upgrade
  • Addressed numerous other miscellaneous defects

Corrected the version number

We have another new Beta update for 3.7.1, Component update 1.0.563, that we've just started sending out.

The only change between this package and 1.0.562 is a fix for a defect around the false positive prevention logic.
