Virus removed admin rights

Recommended Posts

I noticed a problem today where my microphone stopped working. I tried all troubleshooting steps, rebooted by pc, and it took a long time to reboot. When it rebooted, the GUI rfeatures all looked strange, and I was unable to mute my audio. I attempted to download avast software, and received an error that "The Base Filtering Engine (BFE) is not running". i enabled the administrator account on my computer, entered it, and I attempted to start the BFE, but received an "error 5: access denied". I tried the same steps in safemode. i tried all known online fixes I could find to restore admin rights, turn backon the BFE, and be able to install antivirus. I hve followed the instructions in this thread. Attached are my files. I quarantined all the threats for now

Lets check the missing services.

Download   Farbar's Service Scanner utility

and Save to your Desktop.
If using Windows 7 or above, Right-Click on fss.exe and select Run As Administrator.
If using XP, double-click to start.
Answer Yes to ok when prompted.
If your firewall then puts out a prompt, again, allow it to run.
Once FSS is on-screen, be sure the following items are checkmarked:

System Restore
Security Center/Action Center
