We've detected the above malware/trojan on our network which is protected by System Endpoint anti-virus. System Endpoint detects it and says it's removed it but when we check we find the virus is still present and weirdly the virus's executable files have an icon with the characters 'P2'. It also disables the anti-virus software running on a machine. We're not finding a lot of information about it or on how to remove it short of formatting our drives. Any help with or knowledge of how to deal with it would be appreciated.

Hi,

Malwarebytes seems to be detecting and getting rid of the virus structure but the folders associated with the virus reappear though what we've noticed is if the virus tries to run the realtime protection in MB stops it which is good but it means we are left with the remnants in the folder structure and registry. We are a network of 1200 devices and I am only working on one persons machine at the moment and from this I'm attaching logs. I believe my Network manager is looking at deploying endpoint and seeing if this can stop the virus self replicating. So far we believe all the admin and teacher machines on our network are infected. I don't believe a full set of logs have been sent to you yet so hopefully you can shed some more light on this.

Obviously as a last resort if it means shutting the network down we will have to but we really want to avoid having to do this and we may not be able to do this immediately.

Hi,

Nothing suspicious was found in your logs.

ATTENTION: System Restore is disabled
Turn System Restore ON for Drives in Windows 10 - Immediately.

===

Please download the attached Fixlist.txt file to  the same folder where the Farbar tool is running from.
The location is listed in the 3rd line of the FRST.txt log you have submitted.

Run FRST and click Fix only once and wait.

The tool will create a log (Fixlog.txt) please post it to your reply.

If I understand correctly you are cleaning the MBAM entries and on a restart they come back.

This may be cause by Syncing your browser with other devices.

Reset the sync as necessary and run Malwarebytes.
Post the logs so I can see what is re-spawning at start up.
