Problems with the request to send push notifications

Recommended Posts

Anyone can explain to me why despite not having granted the websites (see first screenshot) the ability to request to send push notifications, the forum of Malwarebytes, when I log in, it still requires (see second screenshot)? Using macOS Mojave 10.14.3 with Safari 12.0.3. Thanks

I haven't installed the update yet, but I'm guessing you weren't getting those requests before the update to Safari 12.0.3... is that a fair assumption? If so, I'd guess that this is a bug in Safari 12.0.3. I'll know for sure if I see the same behavior once I've updated.

Unfortunately it happens from Mojave 10.14, continued on 10.14.1, 10.14.2 and continues today; I do not remember if there was already an option to turn off notifications on High Sierra.
I noticed now that it also happens with other websites: so it's probably an Apple bug;
