BAD POOL CALLER

Recommended Posts

Hello can someone please tell me when this "BAD POOL CALLER" issue is going to be fixed with MalwareBytes?

It's so bad that I had to uninstall it on both my computers with one being a laptop. The crashes are complelty random. Sometimes when my computer boots up, other times when I am working in Photoshop and just generally accessing the internet it will crash.

I also sent a support ticket over a week ago but still now reply. So is it fair to say that this problem isn't going to go away and or my ticket was put in the too hard basket?

I am running Windows 10 Pro x64.

So can someone please help me with this issue or do I need to purchase another Malware program that will work?

Thanks.

Hello,

Thank your for your patience. If you provide your ticket number, I can look into why you haven't received a reply.

We'll likely need to collect some additional information from your computer to help determine the cause of the issue. Would you prefer to do this here on the forum or with one of our support agents in your ticket?

  • 1 year later...

Looks like this error has reared it's ugly head again as my wife's computer and mine are starting to get the same error...I've closed mwb down to stop it happening, but would stopping realtime protection stop it from happening as per last time this was going on??

Thanbks,

John (Gorzzz)

I fixed the problem by uninstalling it and switching to Malware Hunter.

I was an early adopter of MalwareBytes years ago and when it first came out and I have two lifetime licenses. But I feel this program has gone downhill and no one ever bothered replying to my support ticket. So I gave up waiting and went with a competitors product and I don’t get this annoying BAD POOL CALLER error anymore.

So good luck with getting help with this and I would be interested if someone knows what’s going on and is able to fix it for good.

Greetings,

If this is the same BSOD/issue being reported here then it should now be resolved in the latest component update for Malwarebytes.  To ensure you have the latest version installed, open Malwarebytes and click the gear icon in the upper right then click on the Check for updates button under the General tab, and as long as the two options above that button are enabled you should receive the new build and it should update your version to component update 1.0.804 which you may verify by checking under the About tab.

I hope this helps, but please let us know if it does not.

Thanks
