A weird virus infected my laptop

Hello, recently a virus infected my laptop because I downloaded something carelessly. It's converting all my files into .TRO files. Please help and tell me how to remove it ASAP.

I forgot to mention but, there was a hard disc inserted in the laptop beforehand and all the files in those are now also .TRO files. Also whatever I try to open them with it says the file is damaged or corrupted.

I guess it could be a ransomware but there's no ransom demand, so I don't know.

Yes, the .tRO file extension has recently been associated with  the Djvu ransomware

There is no way to recover your files for free at this time
