From Wikipedia

Quote

Seasons three and four had an equally harsh reception. The Los Angeles Times said "Even just a half-hour in, it's difficult not to wish everyone would just lighten the heck up. The graphic novel noir feel is becoming increasingly oppressive, and everyone is just so grim." The New York Post said "This show, which was once so thrilling and fun, has become full of itself, its characters spouting crazy nonsense."

I watch a few shows at the moment: 13 reasons why, American Vandal and Stranger things. All of them are great and worth watching. Esp I like Stranger things. Recently I started using VPN to get access to the blocked content and watch Netflix in my country without any restrictions. It's the easiest way. So convy!

Please do not link to VPN sites like that. That is SPAM and against forum policy. I have removed the link.

I finished Punisher the second time, Yes, I love that show so much.

Moreover, I am on the 3rd episode of Money Heist and I have got to say that it's fast-paced than previous seasons.

Hello, Everyone

I'm watching the stranger web series in Netflix

Just a reminder to please add a bit more information to your post so that others can quickly decide if it's something they might be interested in watching or asking questions about.

Thanks

Notes:

  1. Please do not link to websites that are not very well known. Links to unknown sites will be removed without notice.
  2. Common sites to link to for the show you're watching are Netflix, IMDB, Wikipedia, Official Website of the show
  3. Please give a brief description of the show so one does not have to visit a link to get a quick idea about the show. But do not post a huge plagiarized article about it.
  4. As with all posts on the forum, please keep all discussions and posts friendly and civil. It's okay not to like a show but no need to offend others that might like it.

At this time I'm not aware of a way to share a Netflix preview directly within a post like we can with YouTube but if you know or find a way please share with others. There is an official Netflix channel on YouTube though so one can typically post a trailer for it here

Today I watched Back to the Future II: https://www.netflix.com/watch/60010111

IMDB:  https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088763/

I love that movie and still enjoy seeing how they imagined the future to be, and to see that they got flat, widescreen, digital televisions that hang on the wall like paintings right, it's quite impressive.  Unfortunately the hoverboard didn't work out, and we still don't have our flying cars, but VR has come a long way and the graphics in Valve's latest VR title, Half Life Alyx are far more impressive than that 3D 'Jaws' that Marty got eaten by while walking in front of the future cinema, and while we aren't quite there yet, that Holodeck from Star Trek gets closer every day (a recent video from one of my favorite Youtuber's, AdoredTV commented on this very thing in his most recent video).

I also recently watched one of my all-time favorite movies; a movie that I can literally watch over and over again, back to back for days on end without getting bored.  I am of course describing the Bill Murray classic, Groundhog Day: https://www.netflix.com/watch/563104

La Bamba: https://www.netflix.com/watch/281550

This movie always reminds me of my wonderful, slightly rotund, very vertically challenged mother who I love with all my heart (I need to call her again soon).  She could sing classical Ranchera/Mariachi tunes all day and rip the roof off any venue (and her voice rips a hole through the fabric of spacetime when she is allowed to sing outside) and she could sing several 50s classics as well.  Of course her laugh would make a donkey chuckle as it's more of a 'cackle' than an actual laugh.  It is simply very loud, very high pitched and can be heard for miles around (sort of like when Krakatoa erupted; a sound that was heard at least 3,000 miles away).

I watched a program about that recently as well.  I'll have to post it over in the regular 'what are you watching?' thread ;)

By the way, in case you're unaware (though if you haven't seen La Bamba yet, please just go watch it now then return and read this later, seriously), here is the brief, woefully inadequate description of this wonderful, hearfelt film (with awesome music throughout, by the way, thanks in no small part to Los Lobos who recorded the title track and most of the songs sung by Lou Diamond Philips in the film):

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0093378/

Biographical story of the rise from nowhere of early rock and roll singer Ritchie Valens who died at age 17 in a plane crash with Buddy Holly and The Big Bopper.

Yet another wake-up call to the public about the dangers of the modern tech industry:

https://www.netflix.com/title/81254224

By the way, pretty much EVERY tech company on Earth uses these shady, manipulative, evil tactics.  All of them; and non-tech companies are adopting them as well.

Welcome to the new world where YOU are the product.

This was a very good documentary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When your a researcher you understand what they are saying. They broke it down for novice users to understand what's going on. Some people think its to sophisticated to be real and that's the problem with most people these days.

The Nevernight Connection

This film—inspired by the case of former CIA officer Kevin Mallory—details the fictional account of a former U.S. Intelligence Community official who was targeted by China via a fake profile on a professional networking site and recruited to turn over classified information before being arrested. Through this film, The FBI and the National Counterintelligence and Security Center seek to raise awareness of this issue and help individuals in the private sector, academic and research communities, and other U.S. government agencies guard against this threat.
