Toriatama Posted January 26, 2019 ID:1294716 Share Posted January 26, 2019 Quite the same issue here: automatic renewal is activated but I did not give my consent! And I cannot cancel it. Such practice is not acceptable. I've renewed my licence for 2 years but that's probably the last time I buy a Malwarebytes product. Forcing customers to auto renew their licence is not the way to do business. I've already submitted a ticket (and wasted time for this), but I should not have to do so. It provides contact information for both of the e-commerce partners who handle payment processing and automatic payments for Malwarebytes license purchases. You may contact the appropriate vendor who handles payment processing for your account directly to have them cancel auto-renewal for your account. Anyway, that's too much time wasted for a simple licence renewal. MalwareBytes's e-commerce partners should not be able to force customers to use auto-renewal without asking them first. exile360 Posted January 28, 2019 ID:1295105 Share Posted January 28, 2019 Yes, we've had many requests to provide the option to opt-out of auto-renewal during the purchase process rather than having to cancel by contacting the vendor later, however for whatever reason they have not added that option yet.
