CAN ANYONE give me a straight answer

I bought a premium license for my laptop 4 yrs back.. I now want to apply it to my android phone but it's a line of 4digit interspace character s whereas the app is asking for a series of 5digit characters thus doesn't recognise it.. After going around the houses and jumping through hoops to get on here I'm hoping someone can give me an answer as I'm at the point of binning malwarebytes altogether and going with someone else

By premium license, are you referring to Lifetime license?  If so, here's the what it says in our Malwarebytes on Android FAQs

Can I use my Lifetime license to get Malwarebytes Premium on my Android device?

Lifetime licenses were discontinued as of March 2014 and can only be used to activate Malwarebytes Premium on a Windows device. To activate Malwarebytes Premium on Android devices, purchase a license key from the Malwarebytes website or purchase Malwarebytes from the Google Play Store.
