My friend has a licensed version 3 of Malwarebytes on his desktop PC. It comes up for automatic renewal in Jan 2019. He also has a laptop with the free version installed and would like to purchase a license for it as well in January. How would he go about this and obtain the discounted price of $32.50 per computer ($64.99 for two computers) shown on the Malwarebytes website?

Greetings,

I'm not sure if he'll be able to do this by renewing.  He may need to cancel the renewal and then just purchase two new licenses in the same transaction to receive the discount, however you may contact Malwarebytes Support directly if you wish to get official confirmation as they may know another way to go about this.  You may contact them via one of the methods found on this page.

Please let us know if there is anything else we might assist you with.

Thanks

Thanks for the reply. In preparation to do as you suggest I'm looking at my Malwarebytes which is on automatic renewal and don't see any way to opt out! For most software this is very easy to do so i must be missing a link or something. Could you tell me how I would go about this please?

Thanks,

Mike

Sure, you can cancel auto-renewal by contacting the e-commerce company who handles the charges for your account.  You can find their contact info in this support article.  If you don't recall who handles it (it should be the same company that charged you for your initial license purchase) then you may check by logging into My.Malwarebytes.com (you can sign up there if you haven't created an account yet; it's very useful for managing devices and subscriptions, especially when you have more than one device and/or license key).  If you need someone from Malwarebytes to look the info up for you then you may contact Malwarebytes Support directly via the options found on this page.
