Help with Support Ticket process?

I created a support ticket and received an email acknowledgement with a ticket id.  So far so good.

  • There is no link to my ticket in the email, however.
  • There was no instructions on how to followup.
  • Within the support page, I see no where to search for my ticket.
  • I cannot login to see 'my tickets'.  The login for customers is 'coming soon' and my normal login doesn't work.
  • I click on this forum, and need another login beside my other MWB login (a 3rd login?)

So, in short, I received one email with no way to follow up?  I wasn't told if I'll receive more emails or if I can/should reply to the email.  I can't search for my ticket and every place I go needs another login credential.

Do I have that all about right?


What should I expect from support?  More emails?  Am I missing the ticket search?

If you are having technical issues with our Windows product, please do the following:

If you haven’t already done so, please run the Malwarebytes Support Tool and then attach the logs in your next reply:

NOTE: The tools and the information obtained is safe and not harmful to your privacy or your computer, please allow the programs to run if blocked by your system.

  1. Download Malwarebytes Support Tool
  2. Once the file is downloaded, open your Downloads folder/location of the downloaded file
  3. Double-click mb-support-X.X.X.XXXX.exe to run the program
    • You may be prompted by User Account Control (UAC) to allow changes to be made to your computer. Click Yes to consent.
  4. Place a checkmark next to Accept License Agreement and click Next
  5. You will be presented with a page stating, "Get Started!"
  6. Click the Advanced tab

  7. Click the Gather Logs button

  8. A progress bar will appear and the program will proceed with getting logs from your computer

  9. Upon completion, click a file named mbst-grab-results.zip will be saved to your Desktop. Click OK

  10. Please attach the file in your next reply. Before submitting your reply, be sure to enable "Notify me of replies" like so:

Greetings,

After creating a support ticket you will be contacted via email.  You will then respond via email while being assisted, and as long as that first confirmation email got through, which you already confirmed, then there should be no problem receiving future emails once a member of Support has replied to your ticket.
