Infected - Assistance Requested

Hi Team,

I stupidly clicked on a downloaded file when i didn't recognise the extension. 

Symptoms:

• All browsers responding slowly, not bringing me to anti-virus sites etc
• I attempted to run Windows Defender offline scan and this failed (wouldn't start), tried to download it to usb and boot from there but that didn't work either
• Upon logging back in from safe mode, the windows defender security centre was behaving strangely messages like "your company administrator has restricted options in this application" (it's a personal computer that i alone control) AND "your virus & threat protection is managed by your organization"
• I initially noted 'akamaihd' references on the pop-ups, but these mostly seem to have stopped occurring

Attached are my scan files from MB3 and FRST. I've also used MBAR, ADW, MSERT but no joy they couldn't find anything.

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Just wanted to bump this, i've tried everything but can't seem to shift the Malware.

If any experts have a view - Am i just quicker to do a windows re-build?

Should i be concerned that any of my personal files could have picked up the Malware?

    Once the file is downloaded, open your Downloads folder/location of the downloaded file
    Double-click mb-support-X.X.X.XXXX.exe to run the program
        You may be prompted by User Account Control (UAC) to allow changes to be made to your computer. Click Yes to consent.
    Place a checkmark next to Accept License Agreement and click Next
    You will be presented with a page stating, "Get Started!"
    Click the Advanced tab

Click the Gather Logs button

A progress bar will appear and the program will proceed with getting logs from your computer

Upon completion, a file named mbst-grab-results.zip will be saved to your Desktop. Click OK
