Scanning Synchronized iOS Devces

Even though Malwarebytes for iOS cannot scan for malicious software of any form because of Sandboxing and the like, combined with a lack of interest in such functionality due to the rarity of iOS-targeting Malware, would scanning synchronized iDevices be a viable workaround? It might even be able prevent those devices from being used as carriers to transfer malicious software between synchronized computers without the user's knowledge, such as in the event one of the computers in question doesn't have protection.

I have come to realize that something like this might also be a beneficial feature to iDevice owners using the Windows-based version of Malwarebytes, but the macOS version would still probably be a much more viable recipient for such a feature.

I'm bringing life back to this old topic mainly because this section of the forum doesn't seem to get much attention at all, but also to ask a question: Do iOS and macOS even use the same filesystem? Because if they don't, then scanning synchronized iDevices probably wouldn't even work.
