Greetings,

Are you using the Malwarebytes browser extension beta for Firefox currently?  I ask because if so, then that could be what is blocking the download and if that is the case, we can help you with allowing the download to proceed.

If not, and if the issue is that you're trying to install/execute the download and it is being blocked/quarantined as a PUP, then there are a couple of different ways to go about it.  First, you may temporarily disable the Malware Protection component.  This can be accomplished by right-clicking on the Malwarebytes tray icon and clicking where it says Malware Protection: Enabled, then clicking Yes if prompted by User Account Control.  Once that's done you should be able to launch the blocked item without it being blocked/quarantined.  Optionally, instead of disabling Malware Protection, you may change how Malwarebytes treats PUPs.  You may do this by opening Malwarebytes and going to Settings>Protection and below where it says Potential Threat Protection use the drop-down menu under Potentially Unwanted Programs (PUPs) to change the setting to either Warn User or Ignore Detections, then you should be able to launch the program without it being blocked/quarantined.  Once you are done with the item you may re-enable your protection by doing the same with the tray or change the PUP setting back to Always detect PUPs (recommended).

You also have the option of excluding the item if you wish so that it won't be detected in the future.  To do so, open Malwarebytes and navigate to Settings>Exclusions and follow the instructions found in this support article under the section where it says Exclude a File or Folder to exclude the file so that it is no longer detected.  You could also accomplish this by right-clicking on the item being detected/blocked and selecting Scan with Malwarebytes and once the scan completes and you see the item being detected, uncheck the box to the left of the detection in the Malwarebytes scan results screen and then click Next and when prompted on what to do with the remaining unchecked items, select always ignore and it will add the item to your exclusions so that it will no longer be detected by protection or scans in the future.

If the block is coming from Web Protection, blocking access to the site where the download is coming from then you should be able to right-click on the Malwarebytes tray icon after the block occurs and click on the entry that should now be present in the tray's right-click menu to exclude that website from being blocked.  Once that's done, close and reopen your browser and return to the site where you were attempting to download the blocked item and it should no longer be blocked.  If it is still unreachable, then try clearing your web browser's cache and it should work after that.

If that does not resolve the issue or if it is the Malwarebytes browser extension beta blocking it please let us know and we will explain what to do to get the download to work.

Thanks
