Recommended Posts

Hello,

What issue(s) are you experiencing with the computer that prompted you to run Farbar Recovery Scan Tool?

Did you rename C:\Windows\system32\Drivers\etc\hosts to hosts.txt?

Please do the following:

nWhGEI3.png VirusTotal Upload

  • Please go to VirusTotal.
  • Click Choose File.
  • Navigate to the following folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Dell\UpdateService
  • Inside the folder, locate the following file and double-click: ServiceShell.exe
  • Click Scan it!.
  • Note: If you receive the notification: File already analysed click Reanalyse.
  • Once the file has been analysed, copy the URL/address at the top of your browser window and paste in your next reply.
