MBAM Kernel-EventTracing event error

Recommended Posts

Hello All,

So i have been encountering MBAM Kernel-EventTracing Event ID 2

This error keeps showing daily under event viewer on multiple Windows Server 2012 R2.

Error states Session "MBAMProtection" failed to start with the following error: 0xC0000035

Not only MBAMProtection, others like: MBAMChameleon / MBAMWebprotection / MBAMSwissArmy

All are showing in event errors continuously..

Any thoughts regarding this matter?

This is a name collision error which states that the name already exists (where, I don't know - I'm not a developer)

I would suggest uninstalling all of your MalwareBytes stuff and use a program such as Revo Uninstaller to ensure all remnants are removed
Then reinstall MalwareBytes to see if the error persists.

If it does persist, then I'd suggest posting over in the MalwareBytes forum:  https://forums.malwarebytes.com/forum/41-malwarebytes-3-support-forum/
