Endpoint Protection vs Endpoint Security

Hi,

Can you tell me the diference between the two of them .

We (business) need a managed solution with full protection . If it`s cloud based, what types of data are being sent from our part ? BULK or hash or another way ? Can you provide me any kind of informations before we make the transaction . We want to ensure that GDPR compliance with  no issues.

What I know is Endpoint Protection is cloud managed and Endpoint Security is on-premise managed. As for GDPR compliance you'd need to either hear from staff on this forum or call into Malwarebytes to ask.

The GDPR question, we are fully compliant. 

In MBEP, no user identifying information is saved. The data collected from the machines is the program's operational state, an encrypted version of the file sample we detected if there is a hit, and if we removed it or not.

MBES is on-premises and integrates with AD, it saves all client info to an SQL database, it is up to the admin to keep this database secure.
