False Positive - tenforums.com

Hi, I'm just an occasional visitor of tenforums. Recent weeks, I used an adblock script which in turn used your hosts-file.net and could not access the site. Eventually, I found out it was blocked in hosts-file which really surprised me, as the forum has been extremely helpful to me.

A search on hosts-file.net stated that the site is NOT currently listed in hpHosts, but the adblock author pointed out it is actually in both the main hosts.txt and mmt.txt.

So, I think it's a false positive and would like to report here.

Is this the correct forum to report false positives for hpHosts? (The Contact Us page points here). So, I don't know if it has anything with Malwarebytes, but the issue is with hosts files on hosts-file.net (hpHosts)

Well, the issue was first posted on SNBForums, which I'll link & quote here.

hi
im having the following issue with this especific domain: tenforums.com

by default, its under a blocking file, therefore i wont be able to access the website

Code:

 Blocking file options:
 5. Find domain in hosts file(s)

 Enter selection [1-5 e=Exit] 5

i This finds in which hosts file(s)
     a domain is blocked.

 Enter domain [e=Exit] tenforums.com

 tenforums.com
was found in the following list(s):

 hosts-file.net-mmt.txt

2. The adblock script author replied:

The specific domain is included in https://hosts-file.net/mmt.txt and in their main file https://hosts-file.net/download/hosts.txt.
But according to their search function, it should not. Must be a glitch in the automated processor.
