exile360 Posted November 10, 2018 ID:1280336 Share Posted November 10, 2018 Greetings, I'm sorry that the software is malfunctioning but hopefully we can get it working normally again. Please do the following so that we can take a look at your installation and attempt to find the cause of the problem: Download and run the Malwarebytes Support Tool Accept the EULA and click Advanced tab on the left (not Start Repair) Click the Gather Logs button, and once it completes, attach the zip file it creates on your desktop to your next reply Thanks
exile360 Posted November 11, 2018 ID:1280408 Share Posted November 11, 2018 Everything looks OK in your logs, so please try a clean installation to see if it corrects the issue: Run the Malwarebytes Support Tool Accept the EULA and click Advanced tab on the left (not Start Repair) Click the Clean button, and allow it to restart your system and then reinstall Malwarebytes, either by allowing the tool to do so when it offers to on restart, or by downloading and installing the latest version from here Please let us know how it goes. The only item of concern I noticed in your logs was that you have Java installed. While there's nothing bad about it necessarily, I do suggest removing it if you don't use it for anything as it is known to commonly be exploited by malicious sites and malware. If you don't need it and wish to remove it, you may use the Java Uninstall Tool located on this page. Just click on the red "I Agree to the Terms and Want to Continue" button and the download for the uninstall tool should begin. Go ahead and run it if you wish and it should remove any installed versions of Java from your system.
