Web Protection Will Not Turn On

Greetings,

I replied to you in the other thread, however now that the moderators gave you your own thread, we can work directly on your issue here.

To start, please try the following to see if it corrects the issue:

  1. Download and run the Malwarebytes Support Tool
  2. Accept the EULA and click Advanced tab on the left (not Start Repair)
  3. Click the Clean button, and allow it to restart your system and then reinstall Malwarebytes, either by allowing the tool to do so when it offers to on restart, or by downloading and installing the latest version from here

If that fails to eliminate the issue then please do the following so that we can take a closer look at what's going on with your system and installation of Malwarebytes to try and determine what the problem might be:

  1. Run the Malwarebytes Support Tool
  2. Accept the EULA and click Advanced tab on the left (not Start Repair)
  3. Click the Gather Logs button, and once it completes, attach the zip file it creates on your desktop to your next reply
