Can you check if this is a false positive? I am pretty sure it is.

 

I scanned an old backup drive with old coding projects. I don't recognize the jar, but I have scanned that drive numerous times in the past without it ever being detected. VirusTotal does not detect anything.

I ran this Java Jar through its paces under JRE v1.8 and it appears to be non-malicious and legitimate.  The code is in Plain Text and isn't even obfuscated and it has zero detections on Virus Total.

Hello, I've attempted to correct this and seems ok on my end. Can you let me know if the detection persists for you?

 

If still detected on your end after ~10 minutes from now. Perform the following steps: 

1. Totally exit/shutdown Malwarebytes.
2. Go to here in explorer: C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\MBAMService
3. Delete the following file only: hubblecache
4. Then you can restart MBAM and the cache file will rebuild on the next scan.
