I see some interesting things in the logs, but nothing that would cause what you're seeing. Can you post a screenshot of the error that recommends restarting the program?

Did it just happen the one time? If so, I see what happened, there was an issue updating some of the files which usually means they're in use for reason. If so, not a huge deal as the restart helps solve it. However I thought you said it was happening consistently

Nope, nothing out of the ordinary, just the fact that something had our files open and now it's all working well. You should be good from here on out

Hey, I had the same thing happening just now. Real-time protection goes off, I try to update the database, asks for restart, works again.

Malwarebytes version

Component package: 1.0.482

Update package version: 1.0.7571

it only happened to me once. It's a bit disapointing!
The only time the program asks to restart is when updating the program itself, a new version.

Apparently since this restart request I did not have any problem of deactivation of protection, nor any other request of restart, while having made other updates of the database!
